This request for proposal invites individual consultants and consulting firms with expertise in research, environmental scanning and strategic writing to submit proposals to provide an analytical literature review to the Canada Council for the Arts. This project will provide a first horizon scan of key trends, issues, factors and the current state of the larger environment that may inform the Canada Council’s high level directions in the coming years. The project consists of a review of recently-published Canadian and international sources in English and French on topics relevant to the Council’s mandate and activities, to ensure that its planning is based on current research and evidence. It aims to provide a wide environmental scanning and a first level of summary and analysis of trends that will inform the subsequent steps of the Council’s planning processes.
