OBJECTIVES
To advance professional arts consulting and, by extension, arts development in Canada by:
- Encouraging networking and shared learning among consultants;
- Providing a platform for discussion and resolution of issues with shared concern;
- Cultivating a space that is brave, safe and welcoming of diverse truths and ways of knowing, being and doing in the arts;
- Recommending qualifications, lived experiences, ethics, and practices for arts consultants;
- Representing and advocating for the arts consulting profession;
- Promoting the use of experienced and qualified professionals in the field; and
- Demonstrating leadership within the field.
