PURPOSE
The purpose of this proposal is to select a qualified consultant to carry out a developmental evaluation of the design, delivery, and impact of cultural programs that are aimed at increasing the distribution of cultural services across the city. Specifically, program evaluations are to be conducted on those aimed at the residents in the former municipalities of East York, York, North York, Etobicoke, and Scarborough. They include the following:
CITY OF TORONTO
• Cultural Hotspot, Arts & Culture Services, Economic Development & Culture
• StreetARToronto, Public Realm Section, Transportation Services
TORONTO ARTS COUNCIL
• Arts in the Park, including Animating Toronto Parks grants program
• Animating Historic Sites
• Artists in the Library
It is anticipated that the consultant’s evaluation time and resources will be equally allocated between City of Toronto and Toronto Arts Council programs.
