The Manitoba Centennial Centre Corporation (MCCC) Board of Directors (the Board) is seeking a consultant with experience and knowledge of governance and operating models for similar centres in both the public and private sectors to conduct a comprehensive review of the MCCC current operations, and develop an options paper that identifies governance and business models that will help ensure the organization’s financial and operational sustainability.
- The review requires describing the operating framework in terms of economic impact – Does MCCC have a recent economic impact report or do you require the successful proponent to develop an economic impact assessment?
MCCC does not have a current assessment. The successful proponent will be required to develop an economic impact statement.
- The review also requires a review of current maintenance requirements and building condition assessments. Does this information currently exist or will the successful proponent be required to develop a professional assessment of building conditions?
MCCC has a number of building and equipment reports but does not have an overall comprehensive building assessment report. The successful proponent will be required to review existing reports and identify any gaps that may need to be addressed. Any identified additional assessments will be determined by the project team and if provided by the proponent would be considered additional services. Proponents should not include additional assessments in their fee proposal.
