Brookside Music Association, located in Midland, Ontario, is submitting a grant application to Ontario Trillium Foundation to create a Strategic Plan. In order to apply, formal quotes are required. We would like to invite you to submit a proposal for the development of a comprehensive 5-Year Strategic Plan. Our organization has been dedicated to presenting outstanding music concerts and educational events for the past 13 years, with a primary focus on our successful summer music festival. In 2023, we expanded our offerings by launching a new weekend outdoor world music festival.
Scope of Work:
The selected consultant will be responsible for the following key tasks
Conduct a thorough analysis of our organization’s current operations, including a review of our mission, programs, financials, and stakeholder feedback.
Engage in a comprehensive environmental scan, identifying trends, opportunities, and challenges in the music presenting industry, particularly in the context of post-pandemic recovery.
Facilitate stakeholder interviews and surveys to gather input from board members, staff, artists, donors, and community members to inform the strategic planning process.
Work closely with our board and leadership team to define a clear and inspiring vision for the organization’s future.
Develop a detailed 5-Year Strategic Plan that includes specific goals, objectives, action steps, performance indicators, and a timeline.
Provide guidance on how to prioritize and allocate resources to achieve the strategic objectives.
Assist in developing a communication plan to engage and inform our stakeholders about the strategic plan. We are particularly interested in addressing succession planning.
We would appreciate receiving:
A cover letter outlining your firm’s qualifications and experience in strategic planning for arts and cultural organizations.
A detailed proposal that includes a proposed timeline, methodology, and a breakdown of costs.
