RFP Finance Manager Functions – Accounting

REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL & FEE ESTIMATE
SCOPE OF SERVICES: Controllership Activities (Finance Manager Function).
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to invite you to submit a proposal to the Canadian Children’s Opera Company (“CCOC”). The Board of Directors is seeking the services of a qualified firm or individual to provide it with fully outsourced accounting services. The CCOC has a part-time bookkeeper. The firm or individual will work closely with the bookkeeper, the Executive Director and the Board Treasurer. In general, accounting services are to include but are not limited to supervising and providing guidance to the bookkeeping function, preparing/reviewing general-journal entries, preparing the monthly financial statements and balance-sheet reconciliations, preparing the quarterly board package, preparing/reviewing HST filings, preparing for the annual audit and providing general accounting advice to CCOC staff and the Board. It is expected that these services will be provided for a fixed monthly fee. The proposal should include the number of hours required to complete the various services and the hourly fee, as applicable.
