The Ottawa Cultural Alliance (OCA) is a collaboration between six network organizations working collaboratively to help advance Ottawa’s cultural sector. As a result of OCA’s work advocating for cultural priorities, Ottawa City Council has approved funding to be applied in part to complete an arms-length, community-driven, community-wide CULTURAL SECTOR DEVELOPMENT FEASIBILITY STUDY. The study will learn from best practices and recommend solutions designed to further advance Ottawa’s cultural sector. The study is scheduled to start in November 2017, and to be completed by the end of August 2018.
OCA is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to undertake this feasibility study. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available from OCA’s website, ottawaculture.ca and at artsconsultants.ca. Proposals must be submitted via email no later than Friday November 3, 2017, 12:00 noon ET. Questions may be directed in writing to Margery Leach, Project Manager at info@ottawaculture.ca between Monday October 16 2017 and Wednesday October 25, 2017, 12 Noon ET. All questions and answers, and any proposal amendments will be posted on the OCA website.
