Request for Quotations – Board Retreat Facilitator

The Ontario Museum Association is seeking quotations from qualified vendors/consultants to facilitate a one-day board retreat which supports the board in building its leadership in contributing to the mission. This board retreat aims to build a new culture and connect board members to each other in strategic thinking which prepares the OMA for its strategic planning phase.

Scope of Work:

Date: June 11, 2024.
1-day Board training from 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Location: Huntsville, Ontario.

Description of Work:
The selected vendor/consultant will be responsible for:
Retreat Planning:
• Meet with and present draft retreat agenda with Executive Director and/or Board Chair
• Provide pre-work for Board Members (both attending the in-person Board retreat, and those who are unable to attend).
• Prepare materials for retreat
Day-of Retreat:
• Facilitate the June 11 Board retreat. Work with OMA staff to coordinate capturing meeting notes, including any decisions and follow-up items.
NOTE: Facilitator must have access to their own computer and other devices. Any request for equipment must be discussed ahead of time with OMA.
Post-Retreat:
• Develop and deliver a Retreat Summary Report that will document results of the retreat and identify next steps.
• To deliver electronic copies of all materials.
