ACCA is excited to announce we will host an on-line panel discussion with two leaders from the Canada Council for the Arts. This is a member only event designed to exchange perspectives on priorities for the arts sector today with an emphasis on COVID-19 recovery as Council is developing its new Strategic Plan, and fresh leadership and governance models.
Canada Council’s Marilyn Desrosiers (Director, Supporting Artistic Practice Program) and Lise Ann Johnson (Director, Strategic Granting initiative) will share their observations on common needs and challenges of the arts sector in the short and medium term, and thoughts on supporting sectoral recovery and leadership development in the longer term.
ACCA Members Jeanne LeSage and Roger Gaudet will share insights into their recent projects and an analysis of trends they are seeing, including Jeanne bringing forward the LEAN Arts initiative learnings. The aim is to share what we have been hearing and learning, and to discuss what will be helpful for the arts sector recovery and its future needs.
Moderated by ACCA member Lindy Sisson, panelists will reflect on several pertinent questions provided in advance and members will have an opportunity to ask questions.
Please note: this session will be in English.
Join us on Friday, December 11 and pick up valuable information and insight that will keep you up to speed and benefit your clients!
