The society seeks a consultant to build a business case for the project that will:
– Review and Update the feasibility study to reflect the current reality in the City of Kamloops, region and arts community – in order to form credible basis to the business case;
– Create a business case for the current project that will meet the scrutiny of the public, business, and Civic leaders, and includes, at minimum:
o An outline of the cost to build the structure, based on the Class D estimate;
o A recommendation for the ownership/governance model for the facility;
o An itemization of the costs of facility operation;
o Identifying the potential revenue streams & funding sources for both the capital project & operation
The business case will be deliverable by the end of August 2019. The Society expects there will be a component of public/community relations, and presentation of the business case to City Council by the consultant.
The successful consultant will work closely with our architect team, CHP, as well as the Society/committee. A coordination role may be required, and we may ask the incumbent to work in cooperation with other consultants as deemed necessary by the Society.
We invite expressions of interest to be received prior to Wednesday, June 26, 2019 @ 5:00pm PT
