The Haliburton Highlands Arts Centre Foundation is a newly approved charitable organization looking to build an arts centre in Haliburton County (2.5 hours NE of Toronto). The region is home to a number of musical ensembles (orchestra, wind symphonies, and choirs), a professional opera summer training intensive, two dance studios, a folk society, film festival, and multiple theatre companies. We have outgrown the county’s main performance theatre which lacks some desired features plus there is a lack of reliable and adequate rehearsal space in our region.
The Foundation, in partnership with Fleming College, is developing a Needs Assessment Report to help steer next steps in research and studies (economic study, business plan, fundraising plan, etc). Our small, volunteer board plans to apply to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for seed grant funding for this research. We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced consultants to help prepare the OTF application, recommend next steps in research and assist with developing the budget. Expressions of Interest, maximum 3 pages, should include draft work plan, timelines, fees, and relevant qualifications. Please email EOI to: daniel.manley@
