Purpose

The City of Surrey is seeking the services of a consultant to undertake a variety of Heritage and Museum services research and review. These services are ancillary to a broader strategic planning process, including a facility and services needs assessment and community engagement program, which support the development of a new Parks, Recreation and Culture Strategic Plan.

Project Objectives

The Proponent will research, assess and report back on the specific scope of Heritage and Museum services needs related to this project. Outcomes will support and contribute to the development of the new PRC Plan, and provide rationale to support new changes in service delivery and policy. The broad objective of this ancillary scope of work is to research and review opportunities for decentralization, and the use of technology and partnerships to advance of Heritage Services in Surrey.
