This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the City to submit proposals for the provision of Consulting Services for a Sponsorship Research Project.
In February, 2013, Red Deer’s City Council approved a Sponsorship Policy which identifies sponsorship as a recognized revenue/resource generating strategy for the development and operation of City owned facilities and services. The Sponsorship Policy is guided by the principles of balance, transparency, accountability, identity, sustainability and governance. The City completed sponsorship pilot projects in 2013 to test the policy and identified the next step towards an effective sponsorship strategy as the completion of an asset inventory and valuation for the Recreation, Parks
and Culture Department. The complete inventory and valuation will position The City to approach future sponsorship opportunities credibly, consistently and effectively.
