The City of Maple Ridge (herein after, the “City”) is inviting fee proposal submissions from qualified and experienced arts and cultural consultants to work with the Culture Steering Committee, stakeholders and City Staff to develop a new Cultural Plan Update 2017-2027 for the City that is intended to strengthen, harmonize and raise the profile of cultural endeavours through systematic planning. The development of this strategic Plan builds upon the City’s commitment to arts, culture and heritage initiatives within the community and is consistent with the Official Community Plan, Corporate Strategic Plan and Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
The awarded consultant from this RFP will be required to work in coordination with City staff, to meet with relevant stakeholders, and conduct a public consultation process to develop the framework for a renewed Cultural Plan Update 2017-2027 based on feedback, research and analysis.
