Terry Schwalm has over 30 years senior management experience working with arts organizations in Saskatchewan. Her career includes being the Executive Director for two Provincial Cultural Organizations in Saskatchewan, Manager of the SaskExpo 86 Gift Shop, and Marketing Coordinator for Evraz Place in Regina. Terry has participated on many committees and Boards including the Saskatchewan Recording Industry Association Board (now SaskMusic), Saskatchewan Cultural Exchange Society Board, Wanuskewin Heritage Park Commercial Advisory Committee, SIAST Woodland Campus Applied Arts Advisory Committee, Saskatchewan Arts Alliance Board, Cultural Industries Development Strategy Committee, Cultural Tourism Task Force Committee, Saskatchewan Arts Board Artist-in-Residence jury, and the Saskatchewan Foundation for the Arts. In 1995, Terry was invited to be the sole Canadian representative to an Organization of American States conference on "Design and Sustainable Resource Use in the Crafts" in Guatemala. Since 1997 Terry has operated a consulting firm that specializes in market research, strategic and operational planning, business and organizational development, cultural tourism and training. Clients have included: Saskatchewan Arts Board, SaskCulture, Saskatchewan Arts Alliance, Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils, Mendel / Remai Art Gallery, City of Saskatoon / Tourism Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Craft Council, La Troupe du Jour, Ness Creek Cultural & Recreational Society, Saskatoon Community Youth Arts Program, Saskatchewan Drama Association to name a few.
