I produce projects, manage change, and guide creative organizations. I am known for strategic integration of new ideas and technology, creating collaborative partnerships and teams that excel, and developing organizations with good governance, sound strategy and sustainable finances. Following a 20 year career as chief executive of Canadian symphony orchestras (and thanks to a Canada Council for the Arts John Hobday Award) I shifted to supporting content creation and the creative industries. Clients have included Anhinga Films ("GreenRights"), Handful of Films, and Screen Nova Scotia, who I led through an ambitious process that resulted in the creation of a new, member-driven provincial film commission. I have national non-profit board experience and have represented clients at international markets and events and look forward to continuing to work with interesting people, solving challenging problems, and building creative opportunities.
