Originally from Northern Alberta treaty 8 land, Lindy has her degree in Theatre, Dance, and Cultural Anthropology from the U of A; she was a dancer and choreographer in Edmonton, and got her first arts job working for soon to be CAPACOA founder Peter Feldman at the SUB Theatre. Lindy later moved to Vancouver, where her hard earned skills as Citadel Theatre's Artistic Producer of the Edmonton International Children's Festival and Teen Festival of the Arts, won her the job as Executive and Artistic Director of the Vancouver International Children's Festival for 10 years - following the creation of two marvellous children. Lindy's 9 year tenure as the E/AD of the ACT Arts Centre garnered her both the BCTC and CAPACOA Presenter of the Year awards, plus the Maple Ridge Chamber of Commerce Business Leader of the Year. Over the last few years she has produced two theatre/dance works and two films, is writing and involved in arts, environment and community activism. Lindy is thoroughly enjoying working with new clients, being of service through mentorship and continuing to be a cultural connector, and discovering the possibilities that working as an arts consultant and freelance producer sharing her 35 years of knowledge and expertise in the industry brings.
