Jules is a practicing leadership and governance consultant helping arts, culture, and heritage organizations explore purpose and trust. Jules serves as a council member for the BC Arts Council. His recent graduate thesis explores how young people see the future of arts and culture organizations. Jules is a founding member of the International Leadership Association’s Arts community exploring global issues in arts leadership. He has served on many arts and culture organizations like the Space Blanket Society, CiTR radio, and Discorder magazine. Further, as an ARTS BC insight team member has helped offered coaching and consulting services to organizations across BC. Jules’ musical background is in hip-hop, soca and electronic music. He has been active in producing events, radio, and music in Vancouver. His visual arts practice pulls photography, collage, and spray paint together. In addition, Jules has worked in creative social services for people with disabilities.
